You Can’t Water Down Fire

Jeremiah 23:29 (NKJV)
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”
The world wants a Gospel that comforts without confronting, blesses without burning, and accepts without refining. But God never offered us a sparkler — He gave us a wildfire.
You can water down a sermon, but you can’t water down a fire from Heaven.
When the Word of God is truly preached:
Sin gets exposed,
Hearts get pierced,
Lives get changed.
This is why the enemy wants the Church to settle for soft speech and spiritual fog machines.
Because lukewarm light shows never replaced the Holy Ghost fire.
Let Today Be the Day We Say:
“I’d rather offend the world than quench the Spirit.”
“I don’t need it to sound good — I need it to be true.”
“If the fire came from Heaven, let it burn with power.”
A watered-down Gospel can’t break chains.
A timid Gospel can’t reach the lost.
But the fire of God’s Word still sets hearts ablaze.
Let the fire fall,
Pastor Terry Bailey
