A Christmas of the Unexpected.

Family, as we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior, let’s dive into how the first Christmas teaches us about God’s Grace in ways that still surprise us today.
Point One: God’s Grace in Humility. We start with Luke 2:7—"And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and laid Him in a manger." Remember, the manger was just a feeding trough. Heaven touched earth, and it didn’t need a palace—just a manger and a whole lot of love. God’s grace shows up in humble places.
Point Two: God’s Grace in the Unexpected. We see in Matthew 2:13 how God sent an angel to redirect Joseph to Egypt. When God redirects your path, don’t panic—He’s just redirecting your GPS for a Grace-filled detour. God’s grace often unfolds in the places we least expect.
Point Three: God’s Grace Without Compromise. Finally, John 1:14 tells us the Word became flesh. Grace and truth are like a lighthouse beam—steady, unwavering, and never dimming. Jesus brought Grace that never compromises on truth.
Imagine that a modern king was born in a barn; think of your own life’s unexpected reroutes; remember C.S. Lewis’s words about a stable holding something bigger than the whole world.
Let’s see this Christmas as an invitation to find God’s grace in humility, in the unexpected, and in His uncompromising truth.
Merry Christmas
