Why I Refuse to Stop Preaching the Truth.

The Pressure to Go Quiet
There came a time when people stopped clapping and started criticizing. Speaking God's truth meant risking friendships, invitations, and even reputation. I felt the pressure—not just to preach it softer but to stop preaching it at all.
Galatians 1:10 – 'For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.'
But the Truth Isn’t Mine to Tweak
This truth I carry — it doesn’t belong to me. The Spirit gave it, recorded in Scripture, passed down through blood, and meant to be spoken.
2 Timothy 4:2 – 'Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.'
I’m Not Angry — I’m Anchored
People mistake conviction for aggression. But I’m not yelling. I’m standing.
I’ve just seen what happens when truth is compromised — and I won’t let that happen on my watch.
Ezekiel 3:18 – 'When I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” and you give him no warning... his blood I will require at your hand.'
The Truth Still Saves
It was the truth that saved me. And it's still the truth that sets others free.
Jesus didn't say the crowd would love it. He said the truth would divide families and cost friendships, but it would bring eternal life.
John 8:32 – 'And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.'
I’m Still Learning to Speak It in Love
Grace without truth is compromise. But truth without grace is cruelty.
So every day I pray, 'Lord, help me to speak the truth... but always do it in love.'
Ephesians 4:15 – '...speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.'
Summary
I don’t preach the truth because it’s easy. I preach it because it’s eternal.
Not because I’m perfect, but because I’ve been forgiven.
'As long as I’ve got breath, I’ve got truth to share — even if it’s not popular. I refuse to stop preaching the truth.'
