Who Sent Your Pastor?

1️⃣ NOT EVERY PREACHER IN THE PULPIT WAS SENT BY GOD

  • Scripture: Jeremiah 23:21 – “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran…”

  • Point: Some preachers aren’t rebellious — they’re just unassigned. And that’s just as dangerous.

  • Illustration: Like a surgeon performing heart surgery with no training — still holding a scalpel, still wearing the scrubs, but totally unqualified to touch a soul.

  • Connection to Prior Message:

“Some were called while sitting on a stump in the woods. Others just climbed up into the pulpit because it looked like a career move.”

2️⃣ WHEN PEOPLE STOP TESTING THE MESSAGE, THEY END UP SWALLOWING POISON

  • Scripture: 1 John 4:1 – “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits…”

  • Point: If the sermon sounds good but never deals with sin, surrender, or Salvation — it’s probably a trap.

  • Illustration: If it smells like cookies but kills like cyanide, you don't need another bite to figure it out.

  • Quote for Impact:

“Be careful who you’re listening to — and more careful about who sent them.”

3️⃣ A SHINY GOSPEL WITH NO BLOOD CAN STILL LEAD TO HELL

  • Scripture: Galatians 1:6-9 – “If anyone preaches another gospel…”

  • Point: You can go to church, take notes, and say amen every Sunday — and still miss Heaven if the preacher serves spiritual Kool-Aid instead of Living Water.

  • Social Post Quote Inserted:

“The Gospel doesn’t need polish. It needs power.”

4️⃣ THE RIGHT PULPIT IN THE WRONG HANDS CAN DESTROY A GENERATION

  • Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:3-4 – “They will not endure sound doctrine…”

  • Point: The wrong preacher in the right pulpit will entertain the goats while starving the sheep.

  • Illustration: The pews are packed not because truth is being preached, but because ears are being scratched.

  • Quote:

“One may reach millions with a message that sounds right but ain’t. The other may only reach one...but that one soul is Heaven’s treasure.”

🧱 Closing Thought: WHO SENT HIM?

Don’t let charisma blind you to compromise. Don’t let influence disguise iniquity. Ask yourself every Sunday: Is the Gospel being preached? Is Jesus being exalted? Or is the preacher the star of his own sermon?

🔥 Testimony Question?:

“You ever been sitting in a jail cell, under a bridge, or halfway through a bottle when the Holy Ghost tapped you on the heart? That’s what we’re talkin’ about. If God called you — no man can uncall you.”

🙏 Altar Call:

Come forward not for a man, but for the message — the true, unfiltered, Holy-Ghost-breathed, blood-washed Gospel. Let’s return to the Word, to the Spirit, and to the Cross.

💬 Closing Note:

🎯 “Your favorite preacher might be anointed by the algorithm, not the Almighty.Know the difference. Test the spirits. Don’t trust the pulpit—trust the Word.”
