Understanding Your Spiritual Life (For Younger Believers) #3.

  1. God's Approval of Jesus' Sacrifice

  • Resurrection as Approval: When Jesus died for our sins, God showed He accepted this sacrifice by raising Jesus from the dead. It's like giving a big "yes" to what Jesus did. This proves that Jesus' death was enough to cover our wrongdoings. (Verses: Romans 1:4, 4:25)

  1. Jesus Christ is Eternally Alive

  • Jesus Lives Forever: He didn't die again after Jesus rose from the dead. He is alive forever. This is like a hero in a story who overcomes every challenge and lives to tell the tale, but even more amazing because it's real. (Verses: Acts 2:32; Romans 6:9; Revelation 1:17-18)

  • Jesus is With God: Right now, Jesus is in heaven with God. It's like when someone important goes to the most unique place to be with the king. (Verses: Romans 8:34; Hebrews 8:1)

  1. Jesus Christ is Lord of All

  • Jesus' Authority: Jesus was honored above everyone and everything after His resurrection. He is the boss of everything, the king of all kings. (Verses: Philippians 2:9-11; Revelation 17:14, 19:16)

  1. Victory Through Jesus

  • Over Sin: Jesus' death and return to life means He beat sin. This is like winning the most significant battle against our wrong choices. (Verse: Romans 6:10)

  • Over Death: Jesus also beat death. This means death is not the end for those who believe in Him. It's like finding a secret passage that leads to life instead of a dead end. (Verse: Romans 6:9)

  • Over the Devil: And finally, Jesus defeated the devil. This is like the ultimate good guy beating the top bad guy in the most incredible showdown. (Verse: Hebrews 2:14)
