**Scripture**: *Romans 1:18*
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness."
**Sermon:**
We live in a world where truth is often pushed aside, where people live as if sin has no consequences. But the Bible is clear: God’s wrath is real. His righteous anger is not like human anger—it’s not unpredictable or unjust. It is His holy response to sin, to the rebellion of a world that has turned its back on Him. Romans 1:18 tells us that God’s wrath is revealed against all who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
This wrath is not a petty reaction but a demonstration of God’s justice. He is holy and cannot allow sin to go unpunished. Yet, in His great mercy, He has made a way of escape through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus didn’t just offer forgiveness of sins—He came to save us from the coming wrath. His sacrifice on the cross was more than just a display of love; it was a rescue mission to deliver us from the judgment our sins deserve.
But here’s the sobering reality: God's wrath remains on those who reject this gift and continue to live in rebellion. In John 3:36, Jesus says, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them."
As believers, we have been saved by grace, but we’ve also been entrusted with a warning message. We are called to share this truth with those who are lost. Jesus has saved us not only from our sins but also from the eternal consequences of rejecting God. And now, He calls us to stand as messengers of that truth, warning others of the wrath to come while there is still time.
**Altar Call:**
If you’re here today and haven’t made peace with God, know that the door is still open, but one day it will close. You don’t have to face the wrath of God because Jesus has already taken it upon Himself. He offers you life, forgiveness, and freedom. But it would be best if you chose to accept it.
If you feel that stirring in your heart, that’s God calling you to come. Don’t delay. Pray this prayer with me:
"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner deserving of Your wrath, but I believe You died in my place, taking the punishment I deserved. I ask You to come into my heart, forgive my sins, and save me from the wrath to come. Help me live for You and share this truth with others. Amen."
If you prayed that prayer, you are now under grace instead of judgment. Therefore, spread this Good News quickly, as time is limited.
