🔥 Title: "Elon Ain’t Gonna Be There to Answer for You!"

Let me tell y’all a little story. It’s short — but it’s sharp, and it’s real.

I pictured President Donald J. Trump standing before Jesus Christ on Judgment Day. And the Lord asked him:

“Donald, why did you do — or why didn’t you do — what I prompted you to do in that situation?”

And Trump, being honest but maybe a little too quick on the defense, replied:

“Well, Lord… I was gonna handle it one way, but Elon Musk advised me to do it another way.”

And I heard Jesus say back, as calm and as holy as thunder:

“Stop right there. Elon Musk wasn’t the President of the United States — you were. I’ll talk to Elon later about Elon. But right now, I’m talking to you… about YOU.”

Whew.

Now listen to me, friend. This ain’t a Trump thing. This ain’t an Elon thing.

This is a YOU thing.

On Judgment Day — whether you’re at the Great White Throne Judgment or standing at the Bema Seat as a believer — no one will be standing next to you holding your hand, taking the fall, or sweet-talking the King of Kings on your behalf.

You won’t get to say,“Well, my pastor didn’t teach that...”Or, “My husband pressured me...”Or, “I was gonna serve You, but that influencer (whoever or whatever) I follow said it wasn’t the right time.”Or, “Lord, I would’ve chosen faith, but my professor said You weren’t real.”

None of that’s gonna fly.

You will answer for your own heart.Your own choices.Your own silence.Your own obedience.Or your rebellion.

Because Jesus doesn’t judge on borrowed convictions.

Romans 14:12 says,“So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”Not your mama. Not your mentor. Yourself.

So if you’ve been shifting blame — it’s time to shift your posture instead. Drop the excuses. Bow your knees. Confess your sins. Accept the Savior. And walk like someone who understands that eternity is not a group project.

Because when the Book is opened...He won’t ask what your favorite politician said. He’ll ask what you did with the truth He already gave you.

That’s not me judging you — that’s me loving you with the truth.

And I pray when your moment comes, He doesn’t say,

“Depart from Me, I never knew you...”…but rather,“Well done, My good and faithful servant.”

With grace and truth,—Pastor Terry
