GOD’S VIEW
Faith is never a mood. It is the unwavering response of a soul that trusts what God has said more than what emotions suggest. Scripture declares, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1. Feelings, though real, are often fickle — shaped by circumstance, fatigue, or fear. But Faith is shaped by Truth, and Truth never changes.
HOPE
The heart may tremble, but God’s promises do not. “Even if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart.” — I John 3:20. When the believer stands on what is written, not on what is felt, strength returns. “We walk by Faith, not by sight.” — II Corinthians 5:7. Your feelings can’t hold you steady in a storm — but Faith anchors you to the Rock that never moves.
CHANGE
Shift your focus from what you feel to what you know. Feelings fluctuate; Faith functions. It doesn’t deny emotion — it disciplines it. Faith says, “I will believe what God said even when I don’t feel what I wish.” As Romans 10:17 reminds us, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” That means every verse you read builds a bridge stronger than your feelings can break.
PRACTICE
Start your day in the Word — let Truth speak before your feelings do.
When emotions rise, quote Scripture out loud; remind your soul who’s in charge.
Journal moments of Faith — record how God met you beyond how you felt.
End each day with gratitude — feelings fade, but thankfulness strengthens Faith.
CLOSING WORD
Faith doesn’t cancel feeling — it crowns it. Feelings make us human, but Faith makes us holy. So tonight, when your heart wavers and your thoughts wrestle, stand firm and whisper this truth:
“My feelings change with the wind, but my Faith stands with the Word.”
Because when the world shakes, Faith walks.
