“Permanent and Eternal”
Scripture Focus:📖 Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; Matthew 24:35; 1 Peter 1:25; Psalm 119:89, 160
God’s View
“The grass withers, the flower fades: but the Word of our God shall stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8
When God speaks, His Word doesn’t echo into silence — it anchors eternity. Creation itself leans on His decrees; time bends to His Truth. Kings rise and fall, nations shift and crumble, yet the Word remains unmoved, untouched, and unchanged. It is the one absolute in an age of uncertainty — permanent and eternal.
Jesus affirmed it plainly: “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:18) What He declared then still holds now — every promise, prophecy, and precept will find its fulfillment. Heaven and earth may dissolve like morning mist, but “My Word shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)
Hope
When life feels fragile and shifting — remember, your Faith isn’t built on sand. It’s grounded on the unshakable Word of God. Peter reminded believers under fire that “the Word of the Lord endures forever.” (1 Peter 1:25) The same Word that spoke galaxies into being is the same Word that holds you in His palm.
When you can’t trace His hand, you can still trust His Word. When you can’t see the future, you can stand on what He already promised. What He said then still stands now.
Change
The world edits its truths daily. Social media trends fade. Political opinions shift. Even our emotions rise and fall like the tide. But when we let the unchanging Word of God shape us, we step into a stability that outlasts every storm, a rock-solid foundation that we can always rely on.
Psalm 119 reminds us:
“Forever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in Heaven.” (v. 89)“Thy Word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth forever.” (v. 160)
That means you don’t have to rewrite your convictions every time culture changes its tune. You can rest in the permanence of His promises — knowing that His Truth doesn’t bend; it blesses, and it endures, bringing hope and reassurance in every season of life.
Practice
✔️ Start your morning reading one verse — not to finish a chapter, but to let the chapter finish you.
✔️ When fear whispers, answer it with Scripture.
✔️ Write down one promise of God this week and post it somewhere visible — a reminder that His Word outlasts every worry.
Let this be your anchor: “What God has spoken, He will perform. What He has promised, He will fulfill.”
Final Thought
The world changes daily — but His Word is forever. You can build your life, your marriage, your ministry, and your future on the unbreakable foundation of His eternal Truth.
🕯️ The Word of God isn’t fragile — it’s forever, unchanging, and unwavering, providing a secure and confident foundation for our lives.
