🎙️ Today’s Sermon

“While Hearts Harden, the Fires of Hell Remain Hot” By Pastor Terry

“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation…”—Hebrews 10:26–27 NKJV

🔥 Introduction:

Let’s stop pretending Hell has cooled off just because the church has. This message isn’t meant to entertain—it’s meant to interrupt.

The Lord woke me up with this:

“While too many folks are warming pews while the fire that should be in their bones has long gone cold.”

The temperature of Hell hasn’t changed.

But the temperature of our pulpits has.

🚨 The Problem:

Too many pastors whisper about sin, too many Christians applaud what God abhors, and too many churches prepare people for comfort instead of consecration.

Jesus said, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.” (Revelation 3:15)Lukewarm doesn’t mean halfway in—it means fully unfit.

🔥 Three Alarming Truths:

1️⃣ Hell is still hot—even if we don’t discuss it.

  • Romans 2:5 warns us about storing up wrath through stubborn hearts.

  • Hell is not a metaphor. It’s the eternal result of rejecting mercy.

2️⃣ Hearts harden in silence, not in protest.

  • People rarely rebel loudly. They drift quietly.

  • Hebrews 3:13 says Sin’s deceitfulness hardens our hearts day by day.

3️⃣ The Holy Spirit does not dwell where sin is honored.

  • We cannot ask God for revival while protecting our pet sins.

  • If your heart is a temple, ask yourself: Who sits on the throne?

💡 A Word to the Church:

Stop shouting “Revival!” if you whisper about sin. Stop saying “God is love” while ignoring that He is also just. We are raising generations who know about God but deny His power.

It’s not too late. But if we wait… it might be.

🕊️ The Call:

Come back to the altar. Not for a song… not for a moment. But for a transformation.

Let today be the fire that doesn't burn out.
