📚 Prophetic Pairing #7: Ezekiel & Revelation

Title: “Dry Bones, Dark Storms, and the Coming Glory.”

🧭 Why This Pairing?

• Ezekiel shows Israel’s physical and spiritual restoration

• Revelation shows Israel’s final redemption and global reign

• Both contain apocalyptic imagery, heavenly visions, and the war to end all wars

📖 SCRIPTURE #1 – Ezekiel 37:11–14

“Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost... But I will open your graves... and bring you into the land of Israel...”

🔍 Key Word – “Dry Bones” (Hebrew: yabesh etsem) Means lifeless, scattered remains — it’s a picture of national hopelessness. But God promises resurrection and regathering.

📌 Fulfilled in part in 1948, and ongoing — Jews are returning from every corner of the world to the land of Abraham. Israel lives.

📖 SCRIPTURE #2 – Ezekiel 38:2-4

“Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog... Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them...”

🔍 Key Nations Identified:

• Gog/Magog = Likely modern-day Russia

• Persia = Iran

• Cush/Put = North Africa

• Gomer/Togarmah = Turkey and surrounding regions

  
  

This prophetic alliance didn’t exist in Ezekiel’s day — but it exists today.

📖 SCRIPTURE #3 – Revelation 20:7-9

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed... and shall go out to deceive the nations... Gog and Magog…”

🔍 Key Word – “Gog and Magog” (Greek: Gōg kai Magōg) This refers not just to the region, but the spirit of rebellion behind it — Satan’s final surge against God’s people.

👀 In both books, Gog/Magog equals rebellion, war, and God's final judgment.

⚠️ APPLICATION: Today’s World in Ezekiel’s Prophecy

• Russia is stirring.

• Iran is threatening.

• Turkey is aligning.

• Israel is surrounded.

But God is not surprised — He’s fulfilling His Word.

🚨 Warning: Don’t wait for signs to turn into shock. The alliances are forming. The stage is being set. The bones have risen. The breath of prophecy is blowing.

💒 Comfort: The same God who can breathe life into dry bones can revive your home, your heart, your calling. He’s not done — He’s just beginning.

• Dry bones can stay dry…

• Or they can stand up, breathe again, and march as part of God’s prophetic army.
