📚 Prophetic Pairing #5: Zechariah & Revelation.

Title: “The Final Siege: When Nations Surround, But God Stands With Jerusalem”

📍 TODAY’S HEADLINE:

📰 "Global Powers Convene Over Jerusalem Unrest — Iran and Allies Pledge Full Support for Retaliation If Israel Acts Again."📰 "UN Warns: Tensions in Jerusalem Could Spark Global Conflict."

Now, if that doesn’t sound like prophecy knocking at the world’s door, I don’t know what does.

📖 SCRIPTURE #1 – Zechariah 12:2-3

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about... And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people…”

🔍 Key Word: "Cup of Trembling" (Hebrew: raʿal)This means a bowl of reeling — like someone drunk and staggering in chaos. God says the nations will be intoxicated with fury and confusion over Jerusalem.

💬 Today, Jerusalem is the most contested piece of real estate on earth. From Iran to the UN, everybody’s got their hand in it — but God says, that’s My city.

📖 SCRIPTURE #2 – Zechariah 14:2-4

“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle... Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations... and His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives…”

🔍 Key Word: "Gather" (Hebrew: asaph)This is an intentional summoning — not random chaos. God Himself will allow this buildup, not to destroy Israel, but to demonstrate His glory when Christ returns.

💥 The world thinks it’s calling the shots. But Scripture makes it plain: God is setting the stage for Christ to step in — not as the Lamb, but as the Lion of Judah.

📖 SCRIPTURE #3 – Revelation 19:11,15

“And I saw heaven opened... and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True... out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations…”

🔍 Key Word: "Sword" (Greek: rhomphaia)This was a long, two-edged Thracian blade — not for ceremony, but for war. Christ is returning to cut down rebellion, not negotiate with it.

🗣️ Make no mistake, beloved — when Jesus returns, He won’t be seeking peace treaties. He’s coming to establish righteous rule.

🚨 PROPHETIC APPLICATION

Look around:

• Nations are aligning just like Zechariah foretold.

• Jerusalem is surrounded politically, spiritually, and literally.

• The world is staggering under fear, but the Church must stand under faith.

This ain’t fear-mongering — this is faith-positioning.

We’re watching in real-time what Zechariah saw in visions: The gathering. The trembling. The countdown to the King’s return.

🛟 WARNING, COMFORT & CHOICE

🛑 Warning: Neutrality won’t save anyone. When Christ steps on the Mount of Olives, you’re either under His blood or under His sword.

💒 Comfort: To the born-again believer — this is not doom; it’s deliverance. The same Jesus who wept over Jerusalem will reign from it in glory.

⚖️ Choice:

• The world says: Prepare for war.

• God says: Prepare your heart.

Jerusalem is not just Israel’s capital — it’s Heaven’s countdown clock. And from Zechariah to Revelation, God has been telling us exactly how this ends: Jesus wins. Jerusalem stands. And every knee will bow.
