Mini-Sermon: "Marriage: A Covenant, Not a Convenience."

**Key Verse**:

Matthew 19:6 — *"So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."*

**Main Point**:

Marriage goes beyond being a mere social agreement or a practical arrangement for cohabitation. It is a holy promise established by God, intended to be an enduring alliance of friendship and mutual support. Marriage, as envisioned by God, is a sacred bond between a man and a woman, dedicated to one another, mirroring His intention for harmony, affection, and loyalty.

**Simple Application**:

Recognize that your marriage goes beyond a mere legal contract - living in covenant with your partner is a sacred duty. It is designed to be a partnership where you uphold, cherish, and enhance each other, maintaining exclusivity in your physical and emotional connection. Respect this covenant by consistently nurturing your bond, showing forgiveness, and keeping Christ as the focal point.

**Brief Prayer**:

"Lord, thank You for the gift of marriage, a covenant You have ordained. Help us to honor this sacred bond, growing in love, faithfulness, and unity. May our marriage reflect Your love and bring glory to You.

In Jesus' name, Amen."
