Jehovah Tsidkenu, "The Lord our Righteousness."

"The Lord our Righteousness," taken from Jeremiah 23:6

In Jeremiah 23:6, the prophet Jeremiah speaks about the coming Messiah, called "The Lord our Righteousness." This is a title given to the Messiah, who would be the ultimate fulfillment of God's plan for the Salvation of Humanity.

The phrase "The Lord our Righteousness" declares that God will provide a righteous Savior for His people. This declaration is rooted in the understanding that humanity cannot save itself from Sin and Death. Therefore, society can only be held and made righteous through God's intervention.

The word "Righteousness" in this context refers to God's moral perfection and the justification He provides to His people. The Messiah would embody God's Righteousness, and through Him, humanity would be made Righteous in God's eyes.

Ultimately, the coming of Jesus Christ fulfilled this prophecy of Jeremiah. Jesus is the Lord our Righteousness, the perfect embodiment of God's Righteousness, and the one who justifies humanity through his sacrificial Death and Resurrection.
