🛡️ “If Freedom Ain’t Free… Then Who Paid for It?”

A Word from Pastor Terry, Former U.S. Air Force | Servant of Christ | Defender of Faith and Family

As a man born in SW, Alabama—a place where freedom has a price tag written in both blood and courage—and having served as a Military Security Specialist in the United States Air Force, I say this not just from knowledge learn from Books, but from experience:

Freedom is never free. Someone always pays for it—on the battlefield, in the streets, on their knees, or a combination of all.

I’ve watched this nation shift. Not just politically, but morally. What once brought us together—God, Country, and Family—is now seen by many as outdated or oppressive.

Professors with no combat boots, politicians who have never Saluted The American Flag, and teachers indoctrinated with a secular script are now telling our children that the military is a problem… not a protector.

That law enforcement is a threat… not a blessing. That moral absolutes are a barrier… not a foundation.

They say, “Let’s defund the military, disarm the police, erase the Bible, and just get along.” Well, beloved, I’ve got news for you: Evil doesn’t negotiate.

📖 Scriptural Command Post

Romans 13:4 – “For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain...”

🗝️ Keyword: "Minister" (Greek: διάκονος / diakonos) – servant, appointed by God for public good and order.

🗝️ Keyword: "Sword" (Greek: μάχαιρα / machaira) – a small, swift weapon of justice and defense. A symbol of enforcement under divine authority.

God established governments not to replace Him, but to reflect Him—to reward righteousness and restrain evil.

The soldier who stands guard, the officer who walks the beat, the first responder who runs toward the chaos—these are God’s “diakonoi”—His appointed agents to preserve peace.

Psalm 144:1 – “Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.”

🗝️ Keyword: "Teacheth" (Hebrew: לָמַד / lamad) – to train with purpose and discipline. This is no accident—God prepares His defenders.

The Lord Himself trains warriors—not because He loves war, but because He loves peace enough to defend it.

🕊️ Grace Without Compromise

Now, let’s be clear. I’m not calling for violence—I’m calling for vigilance. I'm not preaching nationalism—I’m proclaiming righteousness. This isn't about elephants or donkeys—it’s about lions and lambs. When a nation begins to bite the very hand that shields it, it won’t take long before that shield is gone.

We must not silence those who keep us safe or shame those who serve. Instead, we must return to the foundation laid in humility, justice, and yes—sacrifice.

🔥 Here’s the Truth, Served Hot and Holy:

  • You can’t build a safe house by kicking out the guards.

  • You can’t have liberty without law.

  • You can’t enjoy peace while defunding its protectors.

  • And you surely cannot erase morality and expect miracles.

❤️ A Final Word of Love

Jesus didn’t ignore evil—He conquered it. And He didn’t do it with politics—He did it with power, grace, and truth. And those of us who’ve served—whether in the military, law enforcement, or the ministry—we don’t carry grudges… we carry the Gospel.

We love this land. But we love the Lord more. And that’s why I speak up now.

Because without the grace of God, the order of law, and the love of Christ, no nation can survive—no matter how loud the protests or pretty the slogans.

🛐 A Prayer for the Nations

“Father God, Forgive us when we exalt rebellion over righteousness. Thank You for every man and woman who stands between freedom and fear. Teach us to honor, not erase. To protect, not provoke. And Lord, awaken the hearts of those who’ve never had to bleed for what they now abuse. Let Your Spirit move in every leader, and raise up a remnant that knows truth, lives truth, and defends it with honor. In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen.”

📣 Call to Action: To every soul still listening—Stand your post. Speak the truth. Teach the next generation that freedom is sacred, and it’s worth defending—in prayer, in policy, and in public.

Until then, I’ll keep pressing forward with one message:🕯️ “The best is not behind us—The Best Is On The Way.”
