Opening Scripture: Numbers 23:24 (KJV)

“Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.”

My beloved brothers and sisters, saints and skeptics alike—Israel has risen up like a lion. And the roar we’re hearing today isn’t just the echo of jets over Persia—it’s the ancient sound of prophecy shaking awake.

This may not be the end…But make no mistake: this moment is pregnant—with prophecy, and promise.

I. What’s Happening Now: The Lion Has Risen

Just this week, the nation of Israel launched “Operation Rising Lion”—a preemptive strike to cripple Iran’s nuclear threat. But look here: they didn’t pull that name out of a military manual. No sir. They pulled it out of the Word of God—Numbers 23:24. That ain’t just strategy. That’s Scripture stepping into the headlines.

Like a lion defending her cubs, Israel has bared her teeth—not in rage, but in righteous survival.

This is not political first—it’s prophetic in nature.

II. Prophetic Ground Zero: What the Bible Says About Iran

Jeremiah 49:35–38 – Elam, Ancient Persia (Iran)

“Behold, I will break the bow of Elam... I will scatter them... But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.”

God said He would break the power of Elam—but He didn’t stop there. He promised, “I will set My throne in Elam.” That’s judgment AND grace—in the same breath.

This is the God we preach. Not a warmonger. Not a pacifist. But the Righteous Judge, the Merciful Redeemer.

Ezekiel 38–39 – Persia Will Rise Against Israel

Ezekiel foresaw the day when a coalition—including Persia (modern-day Iran)—would come against Israel. But God Himself will defend her with a mighty hand, so all the nations will know He is the LORD.

Beloved, we may be seeing rehearsals—not the final act—but don’t sleep on this:

Prophecy doesn’t come by chance—it comes by covenant.

III. Grace in the Midst of the Fire

Don’t just see the missiles—see the mercy. Even in judgment, our God is calling souls to Himself.

🔥 Ezekiel 33:11

“As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live.”

Let’s call it what it is: Iran’s government is corrupt, but her people are loved by God. There are underground churches in Iran praying right now. There are Muslims having dreams of Jesus. There are former enemies becoming future evangelists.

This conflict is not just about bombs—it’s about birth.

This is a womb moment. The pain may be labor, not death.The Kingdom is crowning in places we never thought possible.

IV. This Hour is Pregnant with Prophecy and Promise

Pregnant with truth being revealed
Pregnant with souls coming to Christ
Pregnant with Middle Eastern harvest
Pregnant with Messianic revival in Israel
Pregnant with watchmen waking up
Pregnant with the Lion of Judah preparing to return!

V. What Must the Church Do Now?

1. Discern the Hour – Don’t Dismiss It

Matthew 24:6 – “You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars... but the end is not yet.”

This may not be the end—but the clock is ticking, and Heaven’s calendar is not on pause.

2. Preach the Gospel – Not Politics

Romans 1:16 – “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ...”

What saves Iran? Not missiles. What saves Israel? Not tanks. Only Jesus.

3. Pray for Israel AND Iran

Psalm 122:6 – “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”1 Timothy 2:1–4 – Pray for all men to be saved... even kings and nations.

If God can plant His throne in Elam (Jeremiah 49), He can plant His Spirit in Tehran today!

VI. Final Call: The Lion is Roaring—Where Do You Stand?

Today, God is not whispering. He’s roaring.

He’s roaring over nations. He’s roaring over the Church. He’s roaring over you.

Will you sleep through the sound? Or will you rise up in prayer, in holiness, in hope, and in the power of the Gospel?
