"From Glory to Glory."

Studying the Bible regularly and applying its teachings can help us grow and change "from glory to glory," as described in 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV): "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." Here are some key steps to make this transformation happen:

  1. Abide in Christ: John 15:4-5 teaches us to remain in Christ and allow Him to work through us. As we draw closer to Jesus through prayer and studying the Scriptures, we will gradually transform to reflect His character more and more.

  2. Renew your mind: Romans 12:2 instructs us not to conform to the world but to be transformed by renewing our minds. Regularly studying and meditating on the Word of God can develop a new mindset that aligns with God's will.

  3. Put on the new self: In Ephesians 4:22-24, we are told to put off our old self and the new self, created to be like God in righteousness and holiness. As we learn from the Bible and apply its teachings, we become more Christlike in our thoughts, words, and actions.

  4. Cultivate the fruit of the Spirit: Galatians 5:22-23 outlines the fruit of the Spirit, which includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As we grow in our relationship with God and study His Word, these qualities will become more evident.

  5. Be doers of the Word: James 1:22 encourages us to hear the Word and put it into practice. As we actively apply the teachings of the Bible to our daily lives, we will experience transformation and growth.

  6. Humble yourself: In 1 Peter 5:6, we are reminded to humble ourselves before God, and He will exalt us in due time. Humility is critical to our transformation, allowing us to recognize our need for God's grace and guidance.

  7. Encourage one another: Hebrews 10:24-25 teaches us how to spur one another toward love and good deeds. By encouraging and supporting each other in our spiritual growth, we can collectively grow in our faith and become more like Christ.

In summary, by regularly studying the Bible, praying, and applying its teachings to our lives, we can experience a gradual transformation from glory to glory as we become more like Christ. This process involves abiding in Him, renewing our minds, putting on the new self, cultivating the fruit of the Spirit, being doers of the Word, practicing humility, and encouraging one another in our faith journey.
