Darwin's Theory vs. Jesus's Teachings.

Note: Look for the fine line between these two teachings. The subtilty taught here leaves little caution to alert the listeners to the overwhelming urgency to Study the Bible for oneself instead of just accepting what you have been told or trusting in your own "Personal" beliefs without comparing them to the absolute teaching of Jesus Christ.

*** Today, I would like to draw your attention to the teachings of Charles Darwin, the renowned naturalist, and Jesus Christ, the Son of God. While some may view their instructions as contradictory, there are parallels between the two that we can learn from.

Charles Darwin's theory of evolution teaches us about the natural selection process, where only the fittest survive in a given environment. In the book of Matthew, Jesus also spoke of a similar approach when he said, "Enter through the narrow gate. Wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

Just as Darwin's theory emphasizes the importance of adaptation and survival of the fittest, Jesus teaches us the need to choose the right path, which is narrow and complex but leads to eternal life. We must be willing to adapt and change our lives to ensure we follow the right direction.

Moreover, Darwin's theory of natural selection also highlights the interconnectedness of all living things. Similarly, in the book of Colossians, it is written that "He is before all things, and in him, all things hold together." (Colossians 1:17). Christ is the source of all life, and we are all interconnected through him. Therefore, we must treat all living beings with respect and dignity, just as we would want to be treated.

Finally, Darwin and Jesus teach us the importance of love and compassion. Darwin observed the love and cared that animals showed to their offspring and recognized the importance of this behavior in the survival of a species. Jesus, on the other hand, taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves, to show compassion to those in need, and to forgive those who have wronged us.

In conclusion, although Darwin's theory of evolution and Jesus' teachings may appear contradictory, they offer valuable lessons for us to learn from. We must be willing to adapt, choose the right path, respect all living beings, and show love and compassion to others. May we put these teachings into practice in our daily lives?

Conclusion: You owe it to yourself, knowing eternity waits for us all, to invest time and energy, at a minimum, to search the Scriptures concerning Jesus Christ before you settle on what to believe about life after death.
