🚨 Beware of the Poison of "One-Sidedness." 🚨

Children of divorce frequently grow up exposed to only one perspective of the story. One parent might influence their thinking against the other, leading them to never question anything independently. This is the result of "One-sidedness" (my description), and it not only harms families but also hinders mental development.

Why is this dangerous? Because when someone grows up conditioned to swallow one side of the story without testing it, they become the perfect target for any “derangement syndrome” — whether it’s political, cultural, or even spiritual.

The Bible warns:

  • Proverbs 18:17 (NKJV) — “The first one to plead his cause seems right, until his neighbor comes and examines him.”

    • Keyword: examine (Hebrew ḥāqar) — to search, investigate, dig deep.

    • God’s Word says don’t accept the first story at face value — check it out, ask questions, get the whole truth.

  • John 8:32 (NKJV) — “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

    • Keyword: know (Greek ginōskō) — to know by experience, not just hearsay.

    • Freedom doesn’t come from being told what to think, but by seeking and living the truth for yourself.

  • Hebrews 12:15 (NKJV) — “…lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.”

    • Keyword: bitterness (Greek pikria) — sharp poison, a corrosive spirit.

    • One-sided poison produces bitter roots that spread across generations.

👉 Plain talk for all ages:

  • Kids — Don’t just believe the loudest voice. Ask questions. God gave you a mind for truth.

  • Teens — Don’t let anyone — parents, teachers, influencers — feed you only one angle. Train yourself to test things by God’s Word.

  • Parents — Don’t weaponize your children against your ex. You’re poisoning their soul. Speak truth, not venom.

  • Grandparents & Seniors — Be bridge-builders, not wall-builders. Balance, honesty, and forgiveness matter more than being “right.”

💥 Bottom line: "One-sidedness" poisons minds and hearts. But those who seek both sides of the story and measure it against God’s Word will walk in freedom.

I search both sides, test every spirit, and stand on the Truth of God’s Word.”
