A Poem For Today's Christian.

**Title: "Wake Up, O Sleeper!"**

**Scripture: Romans 13:11-12**

*"The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our Salvation is nearer now than when we first believed..."*

Wake up, O sleeper! The hour draws near,

The day of Salvation, the time to revere.

The night is fading, the dawn's on the rise,

Yet many still wander with closed, weary eyes.

The world in its chaos, its noise and its blight,

Has lulled us to slumber, forsaking the Light.

We’ve traded the truth for comfort and ease,

While the enemy sows his lies with the breeze.

The armor of God lies gathering dust,

But now is the time to rise and to trust!

Put on the armor, the breastplate, the sword,

Stand firm in the truth, in the strength of the Lord!

No longer asleep, no longer afraid,

For Christ is our Captain, our ransom He paid.

His light breaks the darkness, His truth will prevail,

For though the world stumbles, God’s Word will not fail.

O Church, arise from the chains of the past,

For the night is now over, and day comes at last.

Let His glory shine through you, bold and awake,

For His kingdom is coming—there’s no time to waste!
