3 Scripture Missiles.

šŸ”„ 1. "Jesus wept." — John 11:35

Illustration: A grown man stands at a graveside, tears falling freely—not out of weakness, but out of love. He knows resurrection is moments away, yet still, He weeps with the hurting. That man is Jesus.

Explanation: This is the shortest verse in the Bible, yet it thunders with the humanity and compassion of Christ. He weptĀ not out of despair, but empathy. Even knowing Lazarus would rise, Jesus chose to feel the pain of those around Him.

Key Word (Greek):

  • Wept — į¼Ī“Ī¬ĪŗĻĻ…ĻƒĪµĪ½ (edakrysen): A quiet, deeply felt weeping. Different from loud wailing. It means tears that come from the heart.

Takeaway: Our Savior doesn’t just save us—He feelsĀ for us. You’re never crying alone.

āš”ļø 2. "Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10

Illustration: A battlefield commander lifts his hand and yells, ā€œHold your fire!ā€ In the silence, the soldiers hear the sound of approaching reinforcements. Sometimes the stillness is where strength is found.

Explanation: This verse isn't just about silence—it's a command to stop striving, stop worrying, stop fighting in your own strength. It’s God's declaration that HeĀ is in control.

Key Words (Hebrew):

  • Be still — רָפָה (raphah): To let go, release, or relax.

  • Know — יָדַע (yadaā€˜): To intimately, experientially know something.

Takeaway: Let go. God’s got this. You’ll know Him not in the noise, but in the stillness.

🩸 3. "The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin." — 1 John 1:7

Illustration: Think of a crimson-stained cloth plunged into pure water—and the stain vanishes. That’s what happens to a soul under the Blood of Christ.

Explanation: No stain is too dark for His blood. This isn't a partial cleaning—it’s full, complete, final. ā€œAll sinā€ means every kind—past, present, and future.

Key Words (Greek):

  • Cleanses — καθαρίζει (katharizō): To purify, to remove all impurities.

  • All — πᾶς (pas): Every kind, every degree, without exception.

Takeaway: The Cross didn’t miss a spot. When Jesus said, It is finished,Ā He meant it.
