Promise of Peace.

October 25, Tuesday - Promise of Peace

Pastor Terry Bailey

Scripture:

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." - John 14:27

Reflection:

Life often throws curveballs at us—unexpected challenges, uncertainties, and stressors. During these turbulent times, God promises us a peace that surpasses all human understanding. This isn't the world's temporary peace, like brief moments of calm or escape. No, this divine, enduring peace settles deep in our souls. It's a peace that enables us to face trials with Courage and difficulties with Grace. It's a peace that transcends our circumstances and helps us focus on what truly matters. Remember that you don't have to shoulder your worries alone; the Lord is eager to gift you His peace.

Prayer:

Father God, I am grateful for Your promise of peace in my life. Help me to let go of my anxieties and fears, trusting in Your divine peace to guide me through the storms I face. May this peace also testify to others of Your abiding love and care. Amen.
