Prayer for Lost Souls

Heavenly Father,

On this Sunday, we come before you with a heavy heart, praying for the Salvation of every lost soul in the whole, wide world. We know that you desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Lord, we pray that your Holy Spirit would move powerfully across the earth, convicting people of Sin (John 16:8).

May the eyes of the blind be opened, the deaf hear, and the hearts of stone be turned to hearts of flesh (Isaiah 35:5; Ezekiel 36:26).

We pray that the good news of Jesus Christ would be preached to every corner of the world and that those who hear it would respond with faith and repentance (Mark 16:15; Acts 2:38).

We ask that you would raise up more workers for the harvest (Matthew 9:38) and that you would give them boldness to proclaim the truth without fear (Acts 4:29).

Lord, we also pray for those who are currently resisting your call to Salvation. We ask that you would soften their hearts and remove the blinders that keep them from seeing the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4).

We pray that they would come to understand the gravity of their Sin and the incredible gift of Grace that you offer through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).

Finally, we pray that you would use us to be a light in the darkness, pointing others to the Truth of your Word (Matthew 5:14-16).

May we be faithful witnesses to your Love and Grace, always ready to give an answer for the Hope that we have (1 Peter 3:15).

We ask all these things in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.
