In the shadow of the night, amidst the storm's delight, Fear may creep and cling, but remember this right, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, For the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
When troubles echo and fears begin to throb, Remember the Word, as it breaks forth like a dawn, "When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy." (Psalm 94:19) So lean on Him, for His comfort is a divine song.
Anxiety may come, like a thief in the night, But be still, and know that He is God, with boundless might. (Psalm 46:10) His love casts out fear, a beacon shining bright, Oh, weary heart, trust in Him, let His peace reign in your fight.
Look upon the birds, they neither sow nor reap, Yet your Heavenly Father feeds them, in His care, they sleep. (Matthew 6:26) Why, oh anxious heart, do you lose your sleep? You are of more value than sparrows, in His promise, He shall keep.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) In the middle of the storm, these words ring true, Oh, fearful heart, His victory is due, Believe and trust, in His time, He'll make all things new.
Be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world, (John 16:33) His banner over you, victory unfurled, In Him, we are more than conquerors, (Romans 8:37) His love our strength, our anthem loudly heard.
So, rest now, heart, in the arms of the Savior, Whose victory is assured, whose love is ever, In the face of anxiety, in the face of despair, Remember, in Him, victory is not just a prayer, it's a promise to bear.
