Matthew 7:24-27

The wise man built his house upon a rock

With foundation firm, it could withstand shock

The winds may blow and the rains may pour

But his house stood strong, it wouldn't be tore

The foolish man, he built upon the sand

His foundation weak, he did not understand

The winds came fierce, the rain fell hard

And his house fell down, like a house of cards

Oh, how important it is to build our lives

On the solid rock, where faith survives

For trials will come and storms will rage

But in Jesus Christ, we find our anchor, our sage

Let us heed these words and build with care

On the firm foundation, where we can share

Our faith and hope, with those around

And in Christ's love, we will be found.
