How to Overcome Feelings of Guilt.

Dear brothers and sisters, today we come together to discuss how to overcome feelings of guilt. It's a common experience for all of us, but how can we find reassurance in God's forgiveness and move forward?

Let's start at Romans 8:1, which states, "There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus." This verse highlights that once we accept the Lord, our sins are forgiven, and we are no longer burdened by guilt. Instead, we receive grace and mercy.

Let's move on to our next point, found in Psalm 103:12. This verse reassures us that God removes our sins just as far as the East is from the West, meaning our past transgressions are entirely forgiven, and we can start anew with a clean slate—no need to worry about them anymore.

Let's conclude by examining 2 Corinthians 5:17, which states, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" This verse emphasizes that accepting Jesus as our savior results in our transformation into a new creation. We no longer carry the burden of guilt or shame from our past because God forgives us and welcomes us with open arms.

We have the opportunity to overcome feelings of guilt and shame through God's grace and mercy. We can move forward with a clean slate when we accept His forgiveness. May God bless each of you as you seek His forgiveness and strive to live by His perfect will.

Amen.
