Have you ever wondered what God wants for your life? Well, I'm here to tell you that God has big plans for you, all for your benefit!
Let's start with the Bible verse from Psalm 145:17, which says, "The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness." This means that God always does what is right and sound and has your best interests at heart.
Another verse in Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me, come and pray to me, and I will listen. You will seek and find me when you seek me with all your heart." This means that God has unique plans to make you successful and happy. All you need to do is seek him with your whole heart, and he will always be there for you.
And guess what? These plans that God has for you have an incredible goal! Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." This means God wants you to grow up and become a mature Christian. He wants you to learn more about him and become the best version of yourself!
Now, let me tell you something really special. When you follow God's commandments, he will bless you. Deuteronomy 11:8-9 says, "Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, and so that you may live long in the land the Lord swore to your ancestors to give to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey." This means that when you obey God, he will help you and give you good things!
But, if you don't follow God's commandments, he will still love you - but he will need to correct you. Hebrews 12:5-11 says, "And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says, 'My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.' " This means that when you mess up and do something wrong, God will discipline you because he loves you and wants you to learn from your mistakes.
Remember, God has beautiful plans for your life and wants you to grow up to be a strong, mature Christian. Follow his commandments, and he will give you good things, but if you don't, he will discipline you because he loves you. Keep seeking after him with all your heart, and he will always be there for you no matter what!
