Scripture 1: Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and help you and uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Take comfort in knowing God is not distant or indifferent to your pain. On the contrary, he draws near to those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit.

Scripture 3: 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV)
"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
