Today's Biblical word of the day is "Forgiveness."

Forgiveness is a crucial aspect of the Christian faith and is emphasized throughout the Bible. For example, in the New Testament, Jesus taught the importance of forgiveness in the Lord's Prayer, saying, "forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors" (Matthew 6:12).

For Christians, forgiveness is not just a moral principle but also a demonstration of God's grace and love toward us. When we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness, we show our faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, who paid the penalty for our sins.

Forgiveness is also essential for maintaining healthy relationships with others. For example, weaning onto bitterness and anger towards someone who has wronged us can lead to resentment and strife. But when we forgive, we release that person from the debt they owe us and free ourselves from anger and bitterness.

It is important to note that forgiveness does not mean excusing or condoning the wrong that was done. Instead, it means letting go of our anger and bitterness toward the person who wronged us.

Forgiveness can still bring peace and healing to relationships, even for those who reject serving the Lord. Forgiveness is a universal truth that can unite people and promote understanding, regardless of religious beliefs.

In conclusion, forgiveness is vital to the Christian faith and demonstrates God's love and grace toward us. Likewise, maintaining healthy relationships with others is crucial, even for those who reject serving the Lord.
