The Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is an important figure in Christian theology, and the Bible outlines several duties that the Holy Spirit performs. Here are some key scriptures that describe the responsibilities of the Holy Spirit:

Convicting of sin: The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and leads them to repentance.

"And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment." - John 16:8

Regeneration: The Holy Spirit gives new life to believers.

"Jesus answered, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.'" - John 3:5

Indwelling: The Holy Spirit lives inside believers and helps them to live a life pleasing to God.

"Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?" - 1 Corinthians 3:16

Teaching: The Holy Spirit teaches believers and helps them understand God's Word's truth.

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." - John 14:26

Intercession: The Holy Spirit intercedes for believers and helps them to pray according to God's will.

"Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words." - Romans 8:26

Empowerment: The Holy Spirit empowers believers to share the gospel and do the works of Jesus.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." - Acts 1:8

Fruit-bearing: The Holy Spirit produces fruit in the lives of believers, such as love, joy, peace, and patience.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23

These are just a few examples of the duties of the Holy Spirit as outlined in the Bible.
