Psalm 119:151 & 160.

Note:

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the book of Psalms, and it is a beautiful expression of the psalmist's love for God's Word. In verses 151 and 160, the psalmist affirms that all of God's Word is truth. Let's look at these verses in more detail.

Psalm 119:151 says, "You are near, O Lord and all your commands are true." Here, the psalmist acknowledges that God is close to him and that his commands are valid.

The psalmist is expressing his belief that God's Word is not only inspired by God but also wholly trustworthy and reliable. In other words, the psalmist affirms the inherent truthfulness of God's Word.

Psalm 119:160 says, "All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal." This verse is similar to verse 151, but it emphasizes the universality of God's truth.

The psalmist says that every word of God is accurate and that all of God's laws are righteous and eternal. This means that God's Word is valid for the psalmist and everyone at all times and places.

Taken together, these verses express a profound belief in the truthfulness of God's Word. The psalmist affirms that God's Word is reliable and trustworthy but is also universally true for everyone in all times and places.

This belief in the inherent truthfulness of God's Word is an essential foundational belief for many people of faith, and it is a source of great comfort and guidance in their lives.
