Before the return of Jesus

The Bible describes several events that are said to occur before the return of Jesus. Here is a brief outline of some of these events:

1. The spread of the gospel - Jesus himself said that the gospel would be preached worldwide before the end (Matthew 24:14).

2. The rise of false prophets and messiahs - Jesus warned that in the last days, many would claim to be the Messiah or speak for God (Matthew 24:5, 24).

3. Wars and rumors of wars - Jesus said there would be "wars and rumors of wars" leading up to the end (Matthew 24:6).

4. Natural disasters (ever increasingly so) Jesus also predicted that there would be earthquakes, famines, and other natural disasters (Matthew 24:7).

5. Persecution of Christians - The Bible describes a time of intense persecution for believers (Matthew 24:9, Revelation 7:14).

6. The rise of a global government and economy - The Book of Revelation describes a time when all people must have a mark on their right hand or forehead to buy or sell (Revelation 13:16-18).

7. The appearance of the Antichrist - The Bible describes a figure known as the Antichrist who will deceive many people and lead them away from God (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

These are just a few of the events that the Bible discusses leading up to the return of Jesus. It's worth noting that there are many interpretations of these prophecies, and not all Christians agree on how they will be fulfilled.
